Here's my dilemma: I get it set up to sync my "Podcasts" playlist that I created in iTunes. Which it does just fine. The problem is, when iTunes downloads new podcasts and I plug in my Pearl, DT doesn't reflect the changes on my BB. It says it synced the files but nothing changed on my BB; all the old podcasts are still there and none of the new ones. I guess I'm looking for it to sync stuff to my BB like iTunes does for the iPod. Can it be set up to do this, or am I just missing something here? The only way I've been able to get it to do this is to delete its database and let it start over new, which is sort of clunky but it works.

You need to update your playlists. This is not done automatically. Edit>Preferences --> reload itunes playlists. --- Read the FAQ first, before posting. Follow the dt forums announcements on TwitterJoin our Facebook Group

i don't see the "reload itunes playlists" option under that menu. i'm on the mac OS version of DT and, from "preferences", the only option is a checkbox for "check for new versions of doubleTwist". am i screwed?

File > Library > Import iTunes Playlists
Also, if you don't see a 'Library' tab in your Preferences window, you should "check for new versions of doubleTwist"!

This is exactly the kind of behaviour I was looking for too and i was disappointed that DT didn't quite live up to this (DT wants to push their own Amazon-backed library, not be a mere add-on to iTunes, so I can't fault them). However, perusing these forums brought me to the Beta topic... If you're feeling froggy/bold/daring, the latest beta lists automatic updating. http://forums.doubletwis...aspx?g=posts&t=1844
Still downloading, haven't tried it myself yet...
